Do I have the old VPN client?
To check, click the Start button, then search “VPN Client”
If the icon looks like a padlock, you will need to upgrade your VPN client.
First you must uninstall the old VPN client
To uninstall, click the Start button, then search Add Remove Programs
Click Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel Section
Highlight Cisco Systems VPN Client and click on Uninstall.
Click Yes to the following prompt
If you receive the following prompt, please select "Automatically close applications and attempt to restart them after setup is complete"
The old VPN client should be uninstalled after this.
Please restart your computer before installing the new client.
Installing the New Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
After your computer has restarted, please click the link at the bottom of this article.
*Once the application finishes downloading, open the file and choose "Run" to launch the setup.
After the welcome screen, select Next.
Select the "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" button and then click Next.
Click Install (*If after clicking Install you receive an administrator dialog box after clicking install, please click Yes to continue the installation)
Click Finish to complete the installation.
