When returning an iPad, please be sure that all activation locks and personal accounts are removed prior to returning the device.
- Turn off "Find My iPad" (Skip to step 2 if you did not log in to a personal Apple ID)
- First, open up the settings app and select your name at the top of the list
- Select iCloud
- Scroll down and select "Find my Ipad"
- Tap the toggle
- Enter your Apple ID password and select turn off
- First, open up the settings app and select your name at the top of the list
- Remove Passcode
- Open TouchID and Passcode in the settings app
- Tap "Turn passcode off" and enter your current passcode to disable it.
- Open TouchID and Passcode in the settings app
- Sign out of your Personal Account
- Select your name again from the top of the list
- Tap on "Sign Out"
