How to Return an iPad to the Help Desk

When returning an iPad, please be sure that all activation locks and personal accounts are removed prior to returning the device. 

    1. Turn off "Find My iPad" (Skip to step 2 if you did not log in to a personal Apple ID)
      1. First, open up the settings app and select your name at the top of the list

      2. Select iCloud

      3. Scroll down and select "Find my Ipad"

      4. Tap the toggle

      5. Enter your Apple ID password and select turn off

    2. Remove Passcode
      1. Open TouchID and Passcode in the settings app

      2. Tap "Turn passcode off" and enter your current passcode to disable it.

    3. Sign out of your Personal Account
      1. Select your name again from the top of the list

      2. Tap on "Sign Out"
